The start to my healthy lifestyle

So I decided to change my life around and start eating healthy because I felt crappy about myself and to be honest, reading a lot of lifestyle blogs, Instagrams and watching Youtube videos about healthy eating really got me into it as well.

Breakfast Idea 1: PG Tips - Green Tea (I only ever have PG, even with normal tea, I am very picky with tea bags), wholemeal bread toasted, peanut butter and sliced banana's on top. DELICIOUS breakfast idea and I recommend anyone to try it. By the way, this is the first time I have tried peanut butter, and now I know what the fuss is all about, I LOVE IT!


Ignore the chicken in the background haha! More healthy things added to my house to have with meals;
Kiwi's - to have as a snack or to have as a smoothie mixed with other fruits
Strawberries - to just have as a snack or maybe on toast with some honey or peanut butter? or to have as a smoothie mixed with other fruits
Blackberries - to have as a snack or to have as a smoothie mixed with other fruits
Onken Vanilla Fat Free Yoghurts - to have as a snack or with granola for breakfast or on fruit
Coconut Water - I hope it's nice because I haven't tried it yet! But I won't know if I like it or not if I don't try it!
Pancakes - to have with peanut butter and banana slices for breakfast
Innocent Apple and Raspberry Juice - I can't get enough of these at the moment, obsessed!




























Dinner Idea 1: Chinese style stir fry with noodles and beef in black bean sauce. This is delicious and I can't wait to have it again.

Lunch Idea 1: Some chicken bites (1 pack), Chicken and Bacon Caesar Pasta Salad or BBQ Chicken Pasta Salad and an Apple and Raspberry Innocent Juice. They might not be extremely healthy but to me, they are so much better than having things such as sandwiches, chocolate, crisps and pop. 


Breakfast idea 2; Special K granola with onken yoghurt. YUMMY! This is delicious.


Lunch idea 2: brown pasta with bacon and chicken bits and BBQ sauce. 

I am looking to lose some weight, but from eating healthy, not dieting. Diets never work with me, I think it is better to eat healthy and eat as much as you like instead of limiting yourself to certain foods and following a 'plan'. I always feel hungry when I diet and try and limit myself but with eating healthy, I can eat all these things and feel full. I have stopped craving foods such as chocolates, biscuits, crisps, chinese, cakes, etc... and I feel SO good about myself. I have never felt so healthy in my life and I hope I stick to it and can lose some weight as I am sick of feeling fat and unhealthy. I have always been quite big, and never stuck to dieting or anything, but I know that if I stick to doing this (I know I will, because the food is so delicious), I will shed the pounds fast. Obviously not everything I have posted is extremely healthy like the peanut butter BUT it's good to have a little something that's "fatty" within the healthy eating process, because of course, you need sugar as well as healthy things. I will get down to a size 10/12 some day, I know it will take time, but it will all be worth it in the end. 

If anyone has any tips to give me or any delicious meals or foods to recommend then feel free to comment on this please, I would appreciate it!

New Piercing - Rook

So today I had a new piercing, and I absolutely love it. I love piercings and I just love them because they are so pretty. I don't like when people have them all over their face unless it suits them, I have 4 on my face but you can only actually see 2 of them (my lip and nose) and I have my tongue and smiley pierced but you can't really see them haha. I have 13 piercings all together, some of them have fell out and I need them re-done but these are the ones I have or have had; both sides of my nose, tongue, lip, smiley, rook, both nipples, tragus, ear cartilage, surface tragus, and both normal ear piercings. Most people ask me on every piercing I have 'does it hurt?' well.. some of them I have had numbed, and you cant feel a thing, and yes they do hurt after you've had them done but it is nothing that you can't put up with. Piercings don't bother me because I have quite a few now so the pain is just normal for me and I never complain about it, so pain depends on your body really and how well you can take pain. I go on my own to get all my piercings done as well, even my nipples, and I had both of them done at the same time. The pain also depends on where you have it done, such as your nipples. I had mine numbed when I had them pierced so I didn't feel a thing, but afterwards, they stung like a bitch, I'm not going to lie. Your boobs feel really heavy and you have to be really careful with them but after about 2-3 weeks they feel completely fine and to be honest, you forget that they are even there. I love all my piercings, and I'm still planning on having more, such as on my ears. I want conch, daith heart and septum done next and I cannot wait. I need to have my surface tragus, other side of my nose and my tragus re-pierced because the balls fell off them and I couldn't get them back on lol (disadvantages of having acrylic nails).

My daily make up routine and the products I use


       I've decided to do a blog post on my daily make up routine and the products I use for it. As you can see, I actually don't use a lot and I don't even use that many expensive products. The majority of what I use is very cheap, especially my foundation. I have started to buy expensive products (MAC) and I look to buy SO much more, such as benefit cosmetics, more MAC products, Urban Decay, Lime Crime, etc... but for now, as I only work weekends at Wetherspoons, I will only be buying new make up products when I actually need to, because to be honest, I am 17 therefore my pay rate is quite low, and I have other things to spend my money on such as things for my college work (sketchbooks, pencils, etc). Considering the products I use for my face are quite cheap, I am quite happy with the outcome at the end of applying it all. I am looking to buy the MAC studio fluid next and also some prep and prime things from MAC because I have heard they are prettyyyyyyy good. I only have 2 MAC lipsticks at the moment (I know, lame) but they are so expensive! I love them though, and my collection of lipsticks will only get bigger. In the photo, is what I use for my DAILY ROUTINE, however, if im honest, I don't actually have thaft much more make up, just a few more bronzers, mascaras and more of the same foundation. When I'm rich in the future and have my own house, that is when I will have a huge dressing table full of boxes and drawers of make up.

So what products do I use for my daily make up routine?
Foundation from Avon in Ivory Beige
MAC Studio Fix Powder in NW15
Mascara from Avon
MAC Lipstick in Shy Girl
MAC brown eyebrow pencil
Avon true colour mocha latte palette (I always use the darkest colour)
Liquid eye liner from Superdrug
Medium bronze blusher from Avon
I'm not sure where the brushes are from but I use the big one to apply bronzer, the less bigger one to apply my eye shadow as it smoothens it out at the top and I use the smallest one for the fading of my eyebrows at the ends.
(I don't use the pink MAC blush very often as I prefer bronzer)

So in what order do I apply my make up?
1. Foundation all over
2. Studio Fix powder all over
3. Mascara on top and bottom lashes
4. Eyebrows
5. Eyeshadow
6. Eyeliner
7. Blusher
(Tbh, it doesn't even take me that long to do it all, only about half an hour)

Valentines Day!

Well, this valentines was my first one spent with my boyfriend, and my first one spent with ANYONE. And, it was perfect and there will be plenty more to come for me and Nathan! I had to work on valentines but I finished at 6 so I guess it was ok as we still had some time to spend together on the night. It was really sweet because I was downstairs having a cup of tea with his nan when I had finished work and he ran downstairs saying "Ash come upstairs quick!!" and I was confused and asked why and he was going "JUST HURRY UP!" I was like ok ok im coming! and he told me to close my eyes and I went upstairs to find the words "I Love You" spelt out on his bed using candles. I could have cried, and around it there was my card, a rose, a little bottle of wine, some Lindor chocolates (my favourite), a teddy and a cushion that he had made, with a photo of me and him on. It was a good job his bed didn't set on fire though! haha. I loved it and I can't imagine my life without him. Anyway, later on we went for a meal at an Indian restaurant which was very, very, very nice but so filling! I can't wait to go again though, it was lovely. Its nice to think that my first valentines was made special and I can't wait for mine and Nathan's future together and all the other surprises he has in mind for me.

iPhone 6!!

So I finally have the iPhone 6! I absolutely love it. The camera is probably the best thing about it and of course, how big it is. It feels weird using it compared to my 4S. However, I have had to send it back for a brand new one as I have only had it 2 weeks and the internal speaker/microphone isn't working. Basically when someone calls me, I can only hear them when putting them on speaker phone. but they cannot hear me and also my earphones don't work on it either, when I put my earphones in, the music still plays out loud. I am just happy that they are sending me a brand new phone, and I still love the phone regardless of what has happened with it!



What do you guys think of the iPhone 6?
